Key Scriptures

Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them. Daniel 3:26-27

for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.

  • Can you give an example of how God has come through at the last minute in your life?

Start thinking. Ask a question to get your group thinking.

  • Which part of the message was most impactful for you and why?
  • Why do you think God often waits until the last minute to come through?

Start sharing. Choose a question to create openness.

  • Often there is a period of time between the amen of our prayer and the answer. How do you keep your faith strong in the waiting?
  • God is sovereign, do you believe he has control in every area of our life?
  • God is faithful, how has he proven faithful in your life?

Start praying. Be bold and pray with power.

Jesus,. I trust you hold my life in your hands. I thank you for being faithful and coming through so many times at the last minute, but you have always come through. Help me to be strong in my faith and not to get ahead of what your doing in my life.

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  • This week I’m going to expect God to come through for me.
  • I’m going to pray in faith believing God to be faithful to His promises.
  • I’m going to practice patience and spend time in the Gods word to build up my faith.
