Moving Forward

Patiently Endure! Hold on the anchor rope! Keep your float in the water because God will right every wrong. God is still in charge! The people of God will soon be singing on heaven’s shores. Like Abraham in order to inherit the promises of God we must endure by showing patience.

Key Scriptures

Hebrews 6:15 – “And so, after he had patiently endured, Abraham obtained the promise.”

Psalm 105:16-21 - He called down famine against the land and destroyed the entire food supply. He had sent a man ahead of them — Joseph, who was sold as a slave. They hurt his feet with shackles; his neck was put in an iron collar. Until the time his prediction came true, the word of the Lord tested him. The king sent for him and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free. He made him master of his household, ruler over all his possessions.

Hebrews 6:10-12, 19-20 - For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20 where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 10:36-38 - For you have need of patience, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: For yet a very little while, and he who is to come will come, and will not be long. But the just shall live by faith. And if a person withdraws himself, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

James 1:4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
